Terms of Use
Last updated: 30 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Zaynora Labs ("we", "us"), which operates Padhoo at https://padhoo.online. By creating an account or using Padhoo you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Padhoo is a platform only
- Padhoo is an online platform that helps students and parents find tutors and contact them. We act as an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000.
- Tutors are independent. They are not our employees, agents or contractors. Each tutor decides their own fees, schedule, teaching methods and whether to accept a student.
- No guarantee. We review tutor profiles before they are published, but we do not guarantee any tutor's identity, qualifications, background, availability, conduct or the results of their teaching. Students and parents must make their own checks before engaging a tutor.
- Available worldwide. Students and tutors can use Padhoo from any country. You are responsible for following the laws that apply where you live and teach, including any tax, registration or child-safety rules. Fees shown on a profile are set by the tutor in their chosen currency.
- Payments for classes are between the parties. Students and parents pay tutors directly. We do not collect, hold or refund class fees and are not a party to any arrangement between a student and a tutor.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Students under 18 may use Padhoo only through an account created and managed by a parent or lawful guardian.
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date. Keep your password secret; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- One account per person. Do not impersonate anyone or create accounts on someone else's behalf without permission.
3. Child safety
- Parents and guardians must supervise minors at all times when they use Padhoo, communicate with tutors or attend classes, whether online or in person.
- We recommend that a parent or guardian is present (or nearby, for home tuition) during classes with a minor, that first meetings happen in the presence of a parent, and that online classes with minors take place in a shared space of the home.
- Tutors must never ask a minor for personal contact details, photos or private meetings without the parent's knowledge, and must comply with all laws protecting children, including the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.
- Report any concern immediately using the "Report" option or our contact page. We may suspend accounts and cooperate with law enforcement. In an emergency, contact the police (112) or the Childline helpline (1098).
4. Tutor obligations
- Your profile, qualifications, experience and fees must be truthful. Do not upload content you do not have the right to use.
- Respond to students professionally and honestly, and deliver classes as agreed.
- You are responsible for your own taxes (including GST where applicable), registrations and compliance with law.
- We may edit, decline, hide or remove a profile that breaks these terms or that we reasonably believe is misleading or unsafe.
5. Student and parent obligations
- Use enquiries and requirements only to genuinely look for tuition. Do not spam tutors or use contact details for any other purpose.
- Agree fees, schedules and cancellation terms directly with the tutor before classes start.
6. Reviews and content
- Students can review a tutor only after contacting them through Padhoo. Reviews must be honest and based on real experience.
- Do not post content that is false, defamatory, obscene, hateful, harmful to children, infringes intellectual property, invades privacy, or is otherwise unlawful under Rule 3(1)(b) of the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
- You keep ownership of the content you post, and give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on Padhoo and in search engines for as long as it is on the platform.
- We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms.
7. Limitation of liability
Padhoo is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or harm arising from interactions, classes, payments or disputes between users, or for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
8. Indemnity
You agree to compensate us for losses and costs arising from your breach of these terms, your content or your dealings with other users.
9. Suspension and closure
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe it breaks these terms, the law or puts other users at risk.
10. Grievances
Complaints about content or conduct on Padhoo can be sent to our Grievance Officer, [to be added], at zaynoralabs@gmail.com. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days, as required by the IT Rules, 2021.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at the place of our registered office have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have under consumer protection law.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The new version will be posted here with a new date. Continuing to use Padhoo after a change means you accept it.
