Tutor FAQ

Everything you need to know about teaching on Padhoo.

Is it free to join as a tutor?

Yes. Creating and listing your profile on Padhoo is free.

Do you take a commission on my fees?

No. Students and parents pay you directly for classes. We are not involved in class payments.

How long does profile approval take?

Our team reviews new profiles, usually within 1–2 working days. A complete profile with a clear headline, bio, subjects and fee is approved faster. You will be notified once you are live.

Why was my profile not approved?

Profiles may be held back if they are incomplete, contain contact details in the bio, use misleading claims, or break our Terms. Update your profile and contact us if you need help.

How do students contact me?

Students send you an enquiry from your profile. You get notified and can reply in messages. You can also browse requirements posted by students and respond to the ones that match you.

Can I teach both online and at home?

Yes. Choose online, home/centre, or both in your profile. Students can filter by teaching mode.

How should I set my fee?

Set an hourly fee that is fair for your subject, level, experience and city. Look at similar tutors in your city for guidance. You can change it at any time.

How do reviews work?

Only students who contacted you through Padhoo can leave a review, so reviews come from real enquiries. Reported reviews are checked by our team.

What are the rules for teaching children?

Always keep parents informed and involved. Never ask a child for personal contact details or photos, or arrange meetings without the parent's knowledge. We remove tutors who break our child safety rules and cooperate with the police where needed.

How do I delete my profile?

Contact us from the contact page and we will close your account and remove your public profile.
